Construction Sites

Security Cameras For Construction Sites.

The one property type where the building changes shape every month. Coverage has to move with it, and a system designed for week one is wrong by week twenty.

The Moving Target

The Site You Secure In Month One Is Gone By Month Six.

Every other property we work on holds still. A construction site does not, and that single fact drives the entire design.

Phase One: Open Ground

Perimeter and gate. There is nothing to mount to and nothing to power from, so positions are chosen around what exists.

Phase Two: Structure Up

Mounting points appear and sightlines close. Cameras that covered the whole plot now cover a wall.

Phase Three: Fit-Out

The valuable material is inside and the risk shifts from the perimeter to the doors and the deliveries.

Phase Four: Handover

The permanent system goes in, and where it was planned for, much of the temporary infrastructure is reusable.

Deliveries

Material arriving and material leaving, which on a live site are the same gate and frequently the same vehicles.

Plant And Equipment

High value, portable, and the most common thing to disappear overnight.

Power And Connectivity

The Two Construction Constraints Nobody Plans For.

On a construction site the hard questions are not about cameras. They are about electricity and a network.

Early-phase sites frequently have neither reliable power nor a fixed connection. That eliminates a lot of standard equipment and shapes what is realistic. It is also why so many construction camera systems are sold as self-contained units and why so many of them underperform: a unit that has to conserve power records less, and records it worse at night.

Where a site has power, a properly cabled system outperforms anything self-contained by a wide margin, and it can be planned so that runs installed for the temporary system become the permanent one. That is the single biggest saving available on a construction project, and it only exists if somebody thought about it before the first pour.

Where a site genuinely has nothing, the honest conversation is about what a constrained system will and will not deliver, particularly after dark. We would rather have that conversation up front than be asked in month four why the footage is unusable.

What Helps

Beyond Recording On A Construction Site.

On sites nobody occupies at night, intervening during the event beats reviewing it afterwards.

Active Deterrence

Strobe and voice-down triggered by a real detection. On empty overnight sites this is the feature that actually prevents loss.

Analytics That Filter

Classification separating a person crossing the line from weather, wildlife and passing headlights, so alerts stay switched on.

Plate Capture At The Gate

Vehicles in and out, which on a construction site is most of the story.

Designed To Become Permanent

Where the client will own the finished building, the temporary system is planned as phase one of the permanent one.

Straight Answers

Construction Site Security Cameras Denver, Answered Straight.

Answered plainly, because the alternative is finding out after you have signed something.

Can You Install Before There Is Power?
Yes, with constraints, and we will be specific about them. A system running on limited power records less and performs worse at night, and that trade should be understood before it is bought rather than discovered.
Will The Cameras Move As The Build Progresses?
That is planned in. Repositioning at phase changes is part of the design rather than a series of unexpected call-outs.
Is It Worth It On A Short Project?
It depends on what is on site. A project storing significant plant or copper is usually worth covering from day one. A short fit-out inside a secure building often is not, and we will say so.
Can The Temporary System Become The Permanent One?
Frequently, and it is the biggest saving available if it is planned early. Cable routes and positions installed for the build phase can serve the finished building.
Who Monitors The Alerts?
You do, or nobody does, unless you have a monitoring contract elsewhere. We install and configure the system; we are not an alarm-receiving center, and we will say so plainly.
What About Theft By People With Site Access?
That is a gate and delivery problem more than a perimeter one, which changes where the cameras go. Coverage of what leaves is as important as coverage of what arrives.
