Why Systems Fail

Security Camera Systems Fail For Three Reasons. Every One Is Preventable.

Not because the hardware was cheap. Because nobody engineered the install. Every one of these is decided before a single camera goes up, which is why we walk your building before we quote it.

01

The Camera Was Aimed At The Wrong Thing

A camera covering the whole parking lot identifies nobody. Coverage and identification are two different jobs, and they need two different lenses pointed at two different places. Choke points (doors, registers, gates, dock edges) are where the footage actually earns its keep.

02

Lighting Was Never Accounted For

A camera aimed at a west-facing door is blind every afternoon. One under a sodium lamp records an orange smear. Backlight, glare, IR bounce off a wall six inches away. These are the difference between a face and a silhouette, and none of them show up on a spec sheet.

03

Nobody Checked It Was Still Recording

A full drive, a dropped channel, a recorder that quietly stopped fourteen months ago. The most common thing we hear on a first call is that the cameras were there, and the footage wasn’t. A system nobody verifies is a system nobody has.

Worth Knowing Before You Buy

“More Cameras” And “4K” Are How You Get Sold. Neither Is What Makes Footage Usable.

Eight Cameras Placed By Someone Who Understands Sightlines, Lighting, And Lens Choice Will Beat Twenty-Four Aimed At Parking-Lot Mush, At A Lower Price. Resolution Is The Easiest Number To Put On A Quote And The Least Predictive Of Whether You Can Identify A Face.

And passive cameras don’t prevent crime. They document it. If prevention is what you’re buying, that’s active deterrence: light, audio, and live intervention. Most installers sell documentation and call it prevention. We’ll tell you which one you’re actually getting.

What We Install

Security Cameras, Access Control, And Cabling. One Denver Contractor.

No sales rep handing a drawing to a subcontractor. The person who walks your building is the person accountable for what gets mounted on it.

Security Camera Installation

Commercial and residential CCTV and IP surveillance designed around your building’s actual risk points. Camera and lens selected per position, cabling run to code, recorder sized for the retention your insurer or your industry requires, not the default 14 days.

Access Control Systems

Card, fob, keypad, and mobile credential systems for doors, gates, and restricted areas. Know who opened what and when, revoke a credential in seconds instead of rekeying a building, and tie door events to camera footage on the same timeline.

Cat6 & Low-Voltage Cabling

The part nobody sees and everything depends on. Structured Cat6, proper terminations, labeled runs, conduit and plenum-rated cable where code calls for it. Certified low-voltage electrical work that passes inspection and doesn’t come loose in year two.

AI Analytics, LPR & Active Deterrence

Detection that tells the difference between a person and a plastic bag, so you stop ignoring your alerts. License plate recognition for lots, gates, and drive-throughs. And active deterrence (strobe, speaker, live voice) for the properties where documenting the loss isn’t good enough.

Not sure which of these your building actually needs? That’s what the walk-through is for, and it costs nothing.

Hardware

Some Of The Trusted Brands We Work With.

We are not tied to one manufacturer. The camera gets chosen for the position it has to cover, which is why more than one name appears here.

Quick Sizing

How Many Cameras Does Your Property Actually Need?

Three questions for a starting point. This is not a quote. The site walk is what confirms it. It will still tell you roughly what you are looking at, and why.

01 What are you covering?
02 How many ways in?

Doors, gates, dock doors, and drive lanes: every point a person or vehicle can enter.

03 What matters most?

Pick any that apply. Each one changes the camera type, not just the count.

How It Actually Goes

Denver Security Camera Installation, In Four Steps.

Steps one and two cost you nothing. The walk-through, the system design and the written estimate are all free. You don’t pay a cent until you’ve seen exactly what we’re proposing and what it comes to.

01

We Walk Your Building

On site, not on the phone. We look at your doors, your lighting, your sightlines, and where you’ve actually had losses. No quote gets written from a floor plan or a price sheet.

02

You Get A Design And A Number, Still Free

Camera-by-camera placement with the reason for each one, the hardware named, and a fixed price. Delivered at no cost and with no obligation. If something on the list isn’t worth your money, we say so before you pay for it.

03

We Install It To Code

Licensed low-voltage work to NEC standards. Cable in conduit where conduit belongs, clean terminations, labeled runs. Built for reliability, easy maintenance, and years of dependable performance.

04

You Own It, And We Still Answer

We commission it, train your people on it, and hand you the keys. No contract, no monthly per camera. When you call in year five, it’s the same Denver number and someone who remembers your building.

Where The Bids Differ

Denver Security Camera Installers Come In Three Kinds. Only One Gives You Full Control Without Required Monthly Fee.

Lower upfront quotes can come with long-term contracts and monthly fees. Here’s how the numbers actually compare.

Recent Work

6,400 Security Cameras Installed Across The Denver Metro.

Here are a few. Every one was placed after a walk-through, mounted to code, and cabled so the run is protected. Look at where the cameras sit and what they can see. That decision is the whole job.

We had Sam and his team out to our home to install a complete security system and could not be happier with the end result! We have used Sam and Elite Security in our business as well and they are always very communicative and easy to get a hold of if ever an issue arises. I cannot recommend Elite Security enough! I did not have to worry at all about the installation as Sam had every detail handled and thought of in advance. He was also very flexible with our schedule. Thank you!

We just had an eight camera system installed in our home in Colorado. The owner, Sam, couldn’t have been easier to work with. I chose him because he had such wonderful reviews and I’m glad we went with his company. He was timely, very detailed with his installation, and extremely kind. I couldn’t recommend them more. Sam, thanks for a wonderful job.

Where We Work

Security Camera Installation Across 16 Denver-Metro Cities.

The trucks are already there. Local means the site walk happens this week, and the service call doesn’t get routed through another state.

Outside these cities? We cover much of the Front Range. Tell us where you are and we’ll say right away whether we’re the right fit.

Straight Answers

Denver Security Camera Installation, Answered Straight.

Answered plainly, because the alternative is finding out after you’ve signed something.

Who Owns The System?
You do. The customer owns all installed equipment outright. We do not lease equipment and we do not lock anyone into proprietary hardware.
Is There A Contract?
No long-term contract is required. Once the installation is complete and paid for, the system belongs to you.
What Does It Cost Per Camera Each Month?
Nothing. There are no monthly fees for the camera system or for remote viewing. You can access your cameras securely from the mobile app at no additional cost.
Who Designs The System?
Elite Security designs every system. We perform a site assessment, evaluate the property layout and the security requirements, and design for coverage, performance, and long-term reliability. No commissioned sales rep, no package off a price sheet.
Is The Hardware NDAA-Compliant?
Yes. We exclusively install NDAA-compliant security systems from trusted manufacturers. These products meet strict U.S. federal security standards and are approved for use in government, commercial, and other security-sensitive environments.
Are The Cameras Wireless?
No. We install professionally hardwired systems. Wireless is convenient to sell and unreliable to depend on. A hardwired camera does not drop off the network, does not need a battery changed, and is still recording in year five.
Do You Install CCTV Systems?
Yes. CCTV is what most people still call it, and it is what most Denver quotes are written for. What goes on the building now is IP cameras on a hardwired network rather than the analog closed-circuit equipment the name came from. Higher resolution, and recorded footage you can still retrieve months later. Same job, better hardware.
Can The System Grow Later?
Yes. Systems are designed to scale. Cameras, doors, and readers can be added as the property or the business changes, without replacing what you already own.
